Dental Hygiene Practice Laws

About this dataset:

Oral health care is an essential component of overall health. Poor oral health can lead to nutritional deficiencies, chronic pain and time away from work or school. Dental hygienists provide essential support for the oral health care system in the United States. State laws and regulations determine where dental hygienists may practice, define which oral health services hygienists may provide, and establish the degree of supervision that dentists must have over the work of hygienists.

This is a longitudinal dataset, displaying laws from January 1, 2013 to January 1, 2015.
